Most of our cosmetic dentistry patients are in their forties or older. However, some cosmetic dentistry is sometimes appropriate for younger patients, depending on what needs to get done. Just keep in mind that children can’t get dental implants until they’re in their late teens (even if they get one of their teeth knocked out by a baseball).
This is because we have to wait until your child’s jaw has stopped growing before we can drill into it. We’ll usually recommend a bridge for kids who are too young to get dental implants. However, if a kid needs a composite crown that’s usually do-able!
Consult with our pediatric dentistry team to find out what you can do about your child’s missing or damaged teeth.
